Place is very nice. Food was excellent. Scallops were perfectly cooked. Burger was good but was a tiny bit dry. Other than that, our server was very excellent. Overall, this place is very good.

Vince Carter's is a brand new restaurant off LPGA Blvd and owned by the restaurant's namesake. It just opened this week and I went for lunch today. The restaurant itself is beautiful - high ceilings, nice wood, private room, private bar, patio seating, large dine in bar, and regular seating. They have it all covered. We opted to sit in the bar area and I'm glad we did. Normally the bar/lounge area feels like I'm missing out on something by not sitting in the regular dining area. Not at Vince Carter's. Huge flat screens surround the area and all of the seating has you facing at least one or two big screens. It was awesome. Now for the food. It was very good. We went with some traditional lunch fare today. I had a cheese steak sandwich and my friend had a burger with blue cheese and bacon. The food was excellent. Both sandwiches were served on a great ciabatta bread. They brought a delicious bread basket before our meal with some corn bread and a couple of other rolls that were very tasty. The burger was a flat price and you could cheese from a number of great toppings. The sides with your sandwich were great too. High marks for anyone who serves sweet potato fries. Even though this is their first week, the service was great, the food was timely, and it was very good. I think Vince Carter's is going to be a great success for any kind of occasion. Check it ou.

First off let me say that I was quite nervous about eating here because of the many sketchy reviews. I came with a party of 9 people was only hoping that it was better than mediocre. I'm happy to say that I couldn't have been more impressed. Everything about my experience was excellent. We started off with some appetizers, the jalapeño poppers, the baked Brie and the Thai shrimp. All were excellent and full of flavor. Everyone in my party enjoyed them. I also had the bowl of black beans with pork. And although it wasn't all that hot when it came out, the taste more than made up for it and it was a very hearty bowl filled with big chunks of pork. For my entree I had the pasta "Vinsanity" with shrimp and I have to say it was simply amazing. It has portobello mushrooms, kalamata olives, feta cheese, plum tomatoes and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember offhand. It wasn't just a few pieces of everything, it was full of it and tossed together perfectly. To be honest, I don't understand all the negative reviews. To some extent I can see how some people might feel that the service was slow but personally I don't like to be rushed when I go out to eat, especially at a fine dining establishment. We had a big party and our server was gracious, courteous and attentive and I couldn't ask for anything more. The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's pricy. For me it's crazy expensive and really that would be the only reason stopping me from eating there more often. So in conclusion, if you really want to try this place go for it. And don't believe all the haters. Yelp is full of snobs who can never be pleased.

We've been here many times over the last few years and the food has gone down hill, the first few years they were open were excellent, 5 stars. But for some reason the last year or so the food is subpar. Food that should have been hot came out cold. Also the desserts must have been microwaved the last few times we visited because one side of the bread pudding was piping hot and the other side was ice cold. I think if they could work on the kitchen staff to obtain the quality and standards they had when the restaurant first opened it could be great again. We no longer eat there.

Excellent food and service!!! The atmosphere was really nice, and made for a peaceful night out. Drinks, salad, dinner, and a dessert for $50... Can't beat that. Would definitely go back.

I visited Vince Carter's for the first time for lunch, but have lived in the area for 7 years. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The building and decor sets a contemporary ambiance. There are deep and warm earth tone colors, woods, glass and water around to create levels of sophistication found in exquisite restaurants. We were simply greeted by the hostesses, seated in the dinning area as selected and greeted by our server moments later. The menu selections were as advertised, American cuisine. I ordered the Chicken and Mushroom Herb Wrap with pesto mayonnaise on the side and garlic mashed potatoes. Our wait time for our meal was not long, about average. However, the plating and presentation were dissappointing considering the ambiance I previously described. I literally felt I had just picked up a lunch wrap from my favorite grocery chain. The chicken had the appearance of perfect grill marks, but was cold and tasted at least a day old. The wrap did not taste as if it had been heated and there were very little mushrooms. The garlic mashed potatoes were good, but didn't WOW. At least the pesto mayonnaise and my pink lemonade were good. I literally felt cheated and could have purchased this meal elsewhere or made it myself for much less. For dessert, I ordered the VC Red Velvet Cake layered with citrus cream cheese frosting in a small hock style wine glass. It was good and the hints of citrus were delightful. Overall, the restaurant looked exquisite, the food was sub-par and the service was good. I just love to leave a restaurant and feel inspired to visit again and/or wanting to attempt to re-create the meal at home. Not that I should have gone somewhere else or made the meal at home. However, Vince Carter's, I will give you one more chance. I will give you a shot at dinner some other time.

Great food. I got the Ribeye which was cooked perfectly and lightly seasoned (not too salty); my husband got the seared scallops with ravioli and they were also amazing. They have a great happy hour which is always a plus especially on weekends :) the place is beautiful and I'll definitely be returning!

Stopped in for a birthday lunch with my grandmother and daughter. Beautiful building, beautiful interior and warm, enjoyable ambiance. Was impressed by all three. But down to what matters most...the food and service. Another homerun. Service was 5 star and the food was terrific. (Note: If you read my other reviews, you'll find I don't rate lightly and I tell it like it is. This review is no different.) We ordered the brie appetizer and various items for lunch. The service was friendly and attentive. Even the front host staff was engaging. The food was plentiful, flavorful and well presented. I was hesitant to go prior to this visit based on assumed pricing, however the lunch menu prices were on par with all other nice options in the area. Whoever is managing this restaurant is covering all bases. We WILL return.

The building is beautiful, and service is fine, but I find the food a bit overpriced. I don't mind paying more for a meal, but not for something that's just ok.

I travel around Florida on business and have had many enjoyable meals in some very nice restaurants. Sadly Vince Carters is not one of them. First Shula's in the Florida Keys now this place. NO MORE Celebrity sports restaurants for me EVER again. The ambiance and decor is outstanding, top notch really. The food was way below par. I've had much better food at way lower prices a middle of no where mom and pops. Being alone I elected to sit at the bar, I ordered a Heineken since they did not have ANY micro brews. Hmmm oh well. I found the prices a bit steep but not outside my comfort zone IF the food lived up to the ambiance. I ordered the Lobster Bisque soup which was frankly disappointing. Wolf Gang Puck canned is superior by ALOT. It was watery with no real meat or substance. My main meal was the Pork Chops with Marsala topping (a $2 upgrade). The presentation was great like the ambiance, but it was bland tasting and under cooked and near raw in the middle...appetite lost at this point. The Marsala topping was good but not great. I sent it back and they reheated it ! uggg. No offer was made to make new or try another dish. I took two more bites and got a to go box though I'm not sure I'll even eat it later. Service was good overall but the food was way over priced. This adventure with tip set me back $32 Summary: Go Elsewhere don't waste your money. I will not be coming back.

If I could rate 0- I would. Worst surf and turf-don't know how you can even get the hollandaise to taste that bad. Disgusting macaroni and cheese!! What truffle mac? It tasted like Kraft on a bad day. I know this: Houston has excellent restaurants and this place would close. Maybe it's great for drinkers - lots of alcohol being served. Don't bother for a nice dinner.

Vince Carter's had an amazing decoration and looked very luxurious. The servers were good and the atmosphere was okay also. There also was a pianist and he played very well and was also friendly. We went here for lunch & the food was delicious I recommend the hummus appetizer and the sweet potato mash. -I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was okay but one of the chickens were too grilled to my liking and tasted a little burnt. -The food took a long time for it to finally arrive which made me go a hungry waiting. However overall the restaurant was good since it had a clean bathroom, good service, good food, and good atmosphere. -However, the restaurant is pricey. It was over $100 which was really expensive for lunch.

Vince Vince Vince *shakes head* . Thought I'd take my dad out for a nice dinner. We decided on this place. *SIGH* From start to finish was not impressed at all except for the decor. All that money spent on the inside should of been used on thoroughly training the staff. We sat in the dining area where one other couple was. The sports bar was pretty busy. Our apps took 25 min. to come out . Our salad and soup came before them, along with my sons food (he's 3) . When I asked how much longer on the apps , she had a look of that she forgot. She kindly tried to play it off and said oh they should be out soon. 4 minutes later we had apps and 2 min after that our food. She offered my dad a refill then never brought it til later. OK so the food: The mini crab bites for the app was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like the crabs had been playing with their own crap before being chopped and cooked. I gulped so much water after one bite and ate a jalapeno popper just to mask the after taste. Sweet and Sour Red Snapper with some yellow rice: BLAND BLAND BLAND :( such a waste of a beautiful yummy fish. Plus the sauce they brought was not sweet and sour it was some ginger soy stuff. The fish was overcooked #FAIL Tasted my dads bow tie pasta and it was bitter lacking any salt or flavor. My son got the best meal...grilled cheese. I wish I had got grilled cheese. Had the red velvet cake shooter for dessert which was alright nothing to write home about. Then the waitress says "I took the appetizer off cause it was so late". Then I get the bill and she didn't take anything off. Overall just terrible . I wouldn't recommend unless you want a drink and burger in the sports bar like the other guy said. I just want to point out most of the bad reviews were on a Sunday. So maybe it's just Sundays? Either way everyday should be good service and food should always have flavor!

Was there for the first time with my teammate. He told me all about it and how great the food was. I must say the wings are big and juice. My meal was the red snapper with a wine sauce with toasted almonds on top and yellow rice. The only small thing that could have made my meal excellent was a little more sea salt on the fish. The inside of the resturant layout was beautiful. Each room had is own vibe. I will be back when I'm in the area. Thanks VC!!

Vince Carter's is a great place to watch a game; the restaurant has TVs everywhere. Plus, they have a TV dedicated to Vince Carter highlights. Food: I ordered two entrees: grilled Cajun chicken sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes and a salmon burger with saffron rice. The salmon burger was OK, but the grill Cajun chicken sandwich was great! The sandwich had great seasoning and was cooked perfectly. Side Notes Ambiance: The look and feel of the restaurant gives off a classy feel. Service: The servers were fast and accommodating; however, the kitchen was extremely slow. It took our group over 40 minutes to receive our entrees, and there were only two other parties in the room. Overall: Although the kitchen service was slow, I did enjoy the food.

Dee I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions. In the past the food and service have been excellent. However this experience was horrendous. I called and asked for reservations at 8:30. The website indicated they were open until 10 pm. Upon arriving the greeter asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area. We said we had a reservation and were promptly seated. The waitress took our beverage order. We asked for a couple of minutes to peruse the menu. She returned and took our order. She was not very friendly. After she took the order she disappeared and we finally saw her again and asked for water. While we were waiting she gave the check to a nearby table of 11 people. After a few minutes she came back to their table and announced so all could hear, "your card has been denied." The man paying the entire bill said politely that the card was new and could not have been denied. She said she ran it through and "that is the way it is.". She walked away in a tiffy manner and came back for another card. She returned in a few more minutes and again said "the card has been denied also." Again the customer said there was no way that could be. She stormed off again and did not return. In a few more minutes the manager came and indicated that they had machine troubles all day with it. He apologized for the error. He returned again with a $25 gift certificate. As the party of 11 was leaving he came to our table and asked if we would like the certificate as they were from out of town and could not use it. We said yes and thanked him. We asked the waitress what was for dessert. When we made our selections she said they only had 2 left. She said they close our section at 9. I reminded her that the internet said open till 10. Well tonight we close at 9. When our check came we got a 15 percent discount. We gave him the certificate and he said to us, "I gave this certificate to the man NOT you". He would not honor it. This experience will be our last one at this restaurant. Neither the waitress nor the manager spoke to the patrons in a nice manner. They need training in how to treat the customers. She never returned and apologized for her actions. We will not return there again.

Upset that I can't leave 0 stars. Honestly the food was repulsive. Everything tastes like it came out of a can, or the freezer. The waiter had no personality what so ever. Had little to no punctuality, took forever to get us anything as well as our drink order. Will no be going back. First time there and that will be my last.

Service was absolutely terrible! Friday night and it was a ghost town should have been my first warning, now I understand why. Only giving one star because the food was good. We had 6 adults and 2 kids in our party, one person in our party didn't get his steak until all the others were done eating the servers explanation was "sorry the kitchen had to re cook your steak because they overlooked the first one." This was hard to believe due to the fact when she delivered the food she couldn't remember who ordered what and had to yell out what she was serving from the end of the table so we had to stop our conversation and tell her who ordered what. She also didn't set any plate down waited on us to grab it from her hand, well there wasn't any room on the table because she didn't clear a single plate till 20 min after we finished eating when we were waiting for her to bring the bill. When the steak dinner was finally delivered to the last member of our party the server apologized and said the manager said he would gladly buy him desert. Really? Only desert when we are all finished eating sitting in front of dirty plates? I did tell her we didn't think that was acceptable and she said ok no problem the manager will remove it. Her response for why we were still waiting on our 2nd and final round of beers for 20 minutes was "well the bartender has to pour them then I pick them up". Seriously!? That is pretty standard but doesn't justify 20 min wait time from when we ordered them. And of course there was no manager visit to our table despite a manager comp on our bill. The host staff also just told us to have a nice night on our way out not one person asked how anything was, maybe because they didn't want to know!?

I visited VC's for lunch with my girlfriend and her parents. I am a huge fan of Mr. Carter, his career, and how has has given back to the Volusia County area. That being said, I bet he would have been miffed at the service we received while having lunch there. We came in around 1pm for lunch on a Monday (June 3rd). We were seated by a gentleman in the dining room area which was pretty much empty. Upon reaching the table the host had chosen for us, we found that the chairs were filthy with crumbs. Instead of getting us a new table, the host just stood there while we cleaned off the chairs ourselves. He looked like he was just waiting until we finished cleaning so he could give us our menus and then head back up to the front to do nothing. I understand the atmosphere in Daytona is relaxed but this guy could not have cared less. We all agreed that was pretty lame of him to just watch us and say nothing. We used a a lot of basketball terms to describe this hosts apathy, I felt if went with the flow of their menu mentioning appetizers as Assists! The waitress was very pleasant and attentive and I thought the burger was decent.

Love Vince Carter'!. One of the best restaurant destinations in Volusia county. Where else do you have the choice of a very nice sports bar to watch a game, beautiful restaurant, wine bar, or outside seating, all at one location? And, the dining options are just as diverse. Very nice Sunday brunch. One of the best burgers in the area. Great wings (try the VC sauce). Excellent dinner entrees--both standing menu items and weekly specials. Did I say VC's is also very reasonably priced? Vince Carter's is a local gem owned by a local sports hero. Give it a try.

This is indeed a gorgeous restaurant with 3 separate seating areas. there is a fantastic sports bar, a swanky piano lounge with live performers, and the restaurant portion, where some of the seating has excellent views of the lake. I was warmly greeted by the hostesses and quickly shown to my seat. The server was super friendly and knew the menu very well. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits which came with a soup or salad. Well folks, I know Black Bean Soup doesn't really go with Shrimp and Grits, but I love Black Bean Soup so that's what I ordered. There's had a really wonderful smoky flavor. Delish! The Shrimp and Grits was $15.00 and had some perfectly cooked shrimp in it. That was the only good thing, in my humble opinion. I didn't care for the grits, which were like dry-ish hockey pucks of grit cakes sitting in a big gloppy cheese gravy which was very gluey, due to the melted cheese, I guess. I didn't really enjoy that. I would return to try something else and this place is great for a large crowd! It's also great to take out-of-towners there. Just order something other than Shrimp and Grits.

Be patient, slooooow service . Some of the appetizers are frozen, ask before you order. The steak was good, but under seasoned and the garlic mashed were gummy and cold. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food was average.

Third visit in the past couple of months. (They have Lobster Bisque) I haven't been disappointed at all. Tonight is the bisque with a Philly Cheesesteak and sweet smashed potatoes. Very good! Last week I tried a hamburger, also very good. The have a great menu, late hours for fine dining, and they are right off I-95 for my travels. I now have to plan my trips to include time to stop for at least the Lobster Bisque...

: / Beautiful restaurant, with potential to be shining star. Unfortunately, there is much room for improvement. We came to celebrate my mother's birthday, who had made reservations a week in advance. Three of us came up from Miami, specifically for this dinner. (Back hx - it is a tradition in our family that the birthday person picks any meal they want). Mom was quite excited. Service- 1 star: Reservation were for 7:30, my Grandmother, aunt and I came 15 mins early and were put on a list and handed a buzzer. Ok, little odd, especially for "fine dining" but acceptable. Mom, dad, brother and his girlfriend arrive 10 minutes later, and we sit..................with the buzzer...........Aunt and brother go to the bar and get everyone drinks............and we sit..........7:45.........and a small table opens in the front bar area, so we move (out of the hall way) and have another round of wine..........and sit while the pianist plays Jimmy Buffett (?) and Eagles........and sit......8.:15........buzzer goes off (still odd) and we get seated in the "fine dining" area. Awesome! The server is prompt and ask us for our drink orders, 3rd round.....we get a bottle now. My brother and I request appetizers for every one.........and we sit..........for a good, long enough time to think "maybe they forgot us". *******cut to the chase***** we were the last ones served in the entire room. Grandma and aunt felt the Hostess (3 of them) were curt in tone. Mom got lit up with a large group coming after us and getting seated before us. (I didn't catch that... but Mom was tense for the whole dinner). Food - 3 Stars: Appetizers of Lobster Bisque and Baked Brie came reasonable time, but well after we had finished the bread (and we are NOT a carb loving family). The Bisque was tasty but quite rich. As a family, we loved to share, to sample and to comment on how to make the dish. The consensus was that 2 oz shooter of the Lobster Bisque like an Amuse Bouche would have been perfect. The Brie was good. Salads - I had the Caesar side, with is large enough for a dinner. I stopped 1/2 way because the entree was still to come, but was already full. 3 to 4 glasses of wine, bread, a bit of Lobster Bisque and Brie and a 1/2 of Caesar. Did I mention, the entree came about 9:30ish? Entrees - Mine was completely wrong. I ordered Seafood Cannelloni, which was translated to Seafood Tortelinni. : / Going back to the website and the Cannelloni was not there, so it may have been special of the day (2nd page of menu) I love Cannelloni, and it is a very rare treat for me. Tortelinni is way too much pasta, so would never be on my request. My Grandma, aunt and brother had the Black & Blue with Steak and Tortelinni. The brother's plate was clearly dried out on top (didn't need to taste it to see it) and G-ma and aunt said theirs was tasty but cold. Dad loved his Wahoo, which looked appropriately sized and healthy. Dad used to catch Wahoo when he lived in Miami, so he is a great judge of this wonderful fish. Mom loved her Double Double - two 4oz steak filet with shrimp and mushroom sauce. It looked tasty, well plated and well sized. The place was rapidly emptying as we were wrapping it up. The server asked the obligatory dessert request. Mom opted for the carrot "jump shot", with a couple of spoons. It was rich and very "carrot-y" We did not go out of our way to tell anyone it was her Birthday, nor did anyone ask. (neutral) --------------------------------------------------Â------------------------- The atmosphere leads you to feel that you will have a first class experience. You want to have a first-class experience here. It was a huge disappointment to have such a lovely restaurant fail on what should be basic restaurant hosting skills. Other issue - Loud, very loud - everywhere. The interior is gorgeous but much of the large flat surfaces create a reverb and amplification to the sound of the room. Someone (smarter then I on interior decorating) should be able to create ascetically and appropriate sound damping adjustment. Was not to much of a problem for me, but those at the table with hearing issues really struggled with the conversation.

Awful, awful.....had reservations for 730. Left at 1015. The food was dry, no taste. Waitress was not knowledgeable on menu, or restaurant! Horrible experience. Would be better going to Wendy's next door.

I stopped here on a weeknight while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn for business. We ate in the dining room part (not the sports bar), which seemed like a very lovely place to have a fancy date. I ordered a simple vegetarian pasta dish, which was a little pricier than I would have normally liked, but the food was very fresh and the portions were very large.

Had an impromptu valentines dinner. Ordered the fillet mingon,, it was absolutely savory and satisfying. would pay 30+ for it again. The view of lovely fountains didn't hurt either. Many husband and I were staying in Daytona for the weekend. We decided that we were looking for a great restaurant that would have a quiet atmosphere. We found Vince Carter's my husband ordered the Filet Mignon and my husband likes it medium- rare and it came just a little over cooked, but it taste amazing. I ordered the Filet Edgar, and the same as my husband it was a little over the medium rear, but it taste amazing and very tender. The waiter came by and ask if we were happy with it if not he can take it back. I told him it was a little over cooked, but I love the taste so we decided to have it the way it was. The waiter was so nice that I asked if we can take some of the bread rolls to go and if course he gave me a fresh batch. I spoke to some of my friends and they had a different opinion, but they are willing to go back and try it again :)

We had a group of 16 people or so in the semi-private back room and were extremely satisfied. The decorum is first rate and the location is a little out of the way from the race track, but it is much nicer than just about any other restaurant in Daytona. There are two bars and a large dining area. One bar had live piano player and was much more intimate. the other bar was much larger and had tons of televisions on the walls that appeared to be like circle-vision at Disney. They all have sports on and is a fantastic place to enjoy any event. The drinks are very good, appetizer of Shrimp was tasty, the bread and cornbread were very good. I ordered the Ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. Forget desert as we were too full. I give this a 5 star as it is one of the best restaurants in Daytona.

We have been many time both for personal time and Professional events. Fun place with great service. Good selection from hamburgers to fancy temptations. Something for everyone. You can change the atmosphere base on where you sit from sports bar to up class piano bar to the patio by the fountain. Enjoy;)

There were some odd inconsistencies in our dining experience. The building is truly beautiful, but the prices were very reasonable. Our server suggested the crab bites ( which were not on our lunch menu) and they were delicious, but the remoulade sauce was made from yellow mustard. Eek! The salad was full of nice and varied greens. My husband had the mahi with sweet potato fries. The mahi was over cooked and the fries under cooked. The fries were so bad that when the server asked us of we wanted a box for them, I had to stifle a laugh! I enjoyed my pasta and the scallops were cooked fairly well. The service, while very polite, needs some more work. Maybe it is just because it's new. We will go back and try it again at a later date. Hopefully it will have ironed out the kinks. We have heard good things from several friends about this place, so perhaps our experience is not the norm.

Very pretty place to dine. But the food is pretty awful and service was very slow. Expensive for the quality of food. I got a flatbread and my husband got a recommend pasta dish. Both were terrible and we felt bad complaining but as we looked around everyone else was also. Maybe it was a bad night.

I give this place 2 stars for ambiance. Really the decor and building I give 5 stars. I thought maybe the reviewers were being harsh with their reviews. First off we just ordered burgers because the menu way way way over priced. My wife and I were like the reviews can't be to bad, how can you mess up a burger. First the waitress never asks us a temp on the burger. We flag her down and told her we wanted them cooked med-well. She said oh ok thats how they come. So we get our burgers 45 minutes later and there were only maybe 5 other tables there on a saturdaynight. Well they succeeded. Both of our burgers were cooked barely medium. We said fine we will eat it, thought it couldn't get worse. The burger was not seasoned at all or at least we thought. SO we then put salt and pepper over our burgers and still they had no taste. The waitress bragged about the mac and cheese. My wife got that and I got fries. The mac and cheese was the just that. Mac and cheese sauce, the sauce did not coat the pasta very well. These sauce tasted like a au gratin cheese used for potatoes. The food was just over all horrible but loved the ambiance. Never will go back or reccommend going. STAY AWAY.

My husband and I were on vacation celebrating our anniversary. We decided to try Vince Carter's for dinner. Reviews on this website helped us make this decision. The architecture of the restaurant was great. The hostess gave us a tour of the restaurant to help us decide exactly where we wanted to be seated. We were amazed at the black swans in the pond. The only complaint we had was that it took a while for anyone to take our order but once they did, there were no problems. My entree was great but my husbands meal was TO DIE FOR! The waiter was very friendly and helpful and I will definitely come back again upon visiting Daytona Beach.

The boy and I came here for our anniversary dinner, and while the ambiance was beautiful, we were greeted with cold hostesses and a very awkward waitress who hovered a little too long and didn't come back at the right times and served entrees when we were still working on our apps. There is a bar area and a main restaurant area. We decided to sit in the restaurant area, and the decor was beautiful, very modern yet warm. That doesn't make up for the food sucking though. App - Almond Encrusted Brie: OK. Not gooey or particularly warm, just slightly accented by the almonds (which were sprinkled on top, not encrusted) and chutney. On the menu, it states it's "accompanied with fresh fruits". Well the fresh fruit was one strawberry, more of a garnish than meant for eating. Not bad, but for $10, I could've done it better at home. Entree - Pan Seared scallops: NOT SEARED. Poor little muddy white things in a puddle of white gorgonzola sauce and ravioli. So off colored and unappealing. Informed the hostess and waitress it tasted off (no sweetness, acrid, texture off), and we were still charged for it, no free drinks or dessert either. Worst of the night. Clearly they were not patted dry before searing and may have been past their freshness. Side of mac and cheese were okay.... very cheesy and runny. Entree - Rib eye: Pretty damn good. It was salty and undercooked, but that is exactly how I like my meat. The potatoes it came with were atrocious. They were the picture definition of gummy and lacked any flavor. Dessert - Neopolitan shot: I usually hate any desserts in shot form, but these were a little bigger and served in a martini class. The Neopolitan is layered white chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, and chocolate mousse -- sounds difficult to mess up. However, they did. The texture of the mousse was hard, obviously due to being refrigerated for so long, and they were beyond sweet. We felt like we were eating a bowl of layered frosting. It's unfortunate we wasted our money here where the restaurant has great potential but fails in execution and service. Vince Carter needs to return to the Magic, so he can get a better grip on his namesake restaurant.

I have never had a manager at a restaurant speak to myself and my family the way this scumbag did. He was asked if we could get some fresh dinner rolls as the ones we received were rock hard and ice cold. He got up in my face and said I needed to relax it wasn't a big deal, if I wanted new rolls he would get them but I was told I needed to calm down and not get upset because they are just rolls. I was upset because of his defense demeanor. I will NEVER go there or recommend it.

Bland food, ok service, overpriced menu - the definition of "meh". The only reason it has bloated reviews is because it's in Daytona ... and the pickings are slim over here. Typical generic american food menu, nothing to write home about. The one positive is the ambiance - it looks relatively upscale and the sports area is nice if you want to be in that kind of environment. Not bad, just temper your expectations.

Our server was great, and we loved sitting on the patio by the fountain with the beautiful black swans. Unfortunately the food wasn't as great. We had the salmon burger with sweet fries and the filet pizza. The salmon was extremely under seasoned and very under whelming. The filet on the pizza was really good but the crust was a soggy mess.

Went with my Tennis Team after the FL USTA Championship. Service was soo bad it became laughable. 1st, my cold tall beer came out as a warm non-alcoholic beer. Our bottle of pinot noir came out as a glass of pinot grigio 30min. later. Than 3/8 meals came out 30min before the others. One guy ordered a steak dinner and just got an icecream scoop of mashed potatoes 20min before the rest of his meal. The Manager never came to the table after requesting him 3x's. When my personal bill came they charged me 18% on the overall bill including the "2 mis-pours" never ordered. How's this we left her $120 on the $120.70 check and she chased me down for .70. (what's up w/the loop of Vince Carter highlights on the big screen....really??)

Me and my family went here for dinner a few days ago and this place was great, we are big sports fans and wanted to watch the heat game and of course this place had to have at least one tv. First off the decor is beautiful outside and in, as soon as you walk in you can pick the sports bar section or steakhouse section, both of which look beautiful. We picked the sports bar section which is HUGE! Tons of seating very comfortable And tons of tv's. when reading up on this place I read that you can craft your own hamburger which I did and it was incredible, real big and worth the price ($9) also the Portions here are huge rack of ribs are big lobster chowder is dam good. about 15 min away from Daytona beach and right near the airport I highly recommend this place I GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed. When we arrived there didn't seem to be to many people there, we did go late (about 9) and the place closes at 11 but I was surprised, being from New York a place like this would be jam packed everyday. HIGHLY recommended + Great atmosphere + Great Food + Huge portions + Free refills on soft drinks + Decor is beautiful - waiter did forget 2 things ( it was late, there only human )

Love the shrimp and grits. Have only dined in the sports bar area but the restaurant is gorgeous. Great food and service everytime we have gone.

We've been to Vince's twice and enjoyed it both times. It is a beautiful restaurant and the dishes we had were very good. I would recommend the sports bar area especially if you go during a Magic game. Lots of fun.

As I was driving away from Daytona Beach late at night, I noticed a large, neon red sign with the letters VC on it. We were out in the middle of nowhere on a barren road, and my buddy asked, "What is that?" I answered, "It must be Vince Carter's restaurant!" I was half-joking, but it turns out I was right. We ended up coming back just to go to this restaurant, and we like the place! It's like a sports bar rear ended a fine dining establishment. On one side you have a Las Vegas-like sports book with lots of TV's and noisy patrons watching the game (Packers vs. Giants in the NFL playoffs). Yet just around the corner, there's an elegant, quiet area bordered by a waterfall wall where you can enjoy filet mignon and wine. We dined in the fine dining section, which was very peaceful (the whole time I was checking my phone and cheering on the Giants). The food we had was well-prepared and high quality. We'd definitely go back again. I recommend the lobster bisque, but would pass on the crab dip appetizer. I ordered the seafood tortellini, which featured large scallops, shrimp, and tortellini. I liked it, but when I go back, I'll be looking to sample the rest of the menu. If you're looking for semi-fine dining in Daytona Beach, this place is a... (wait for it)... slam dunk!

After some thought I decided to give Vince Carter's a full five stars because there wasn't anything that I could think of to give less. The service was great. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The food was fantastic. I STRONGLY recommend the Lobster Bisque, perhaps the best I have ever eaten. We ate in the restaurant section and it was very relaxing. My family and I will be going back as many times as it takes to try everything on the menu.

I have been here a couple of times. Vince Carters is a nice place and probably too nice for Daytona to support. That remains to be seen, of course. The last time we went there was for Sunday brunch, while we pondered the addition of more family members from the nearby Humane Society. I ordered an omlette from the omlette station. I substituted a salad for the grits, which they did at no extra cost. There are also some extras like potatoes, that you can get at the station. My daughter ordered one of there flatbreads and mac n' cheese, which she loves. Both got a thumbs up. And while you are enjoying brunch, you can listen to a guy playing piano in the background and look at Lake Carter. Definitely give it a try.

We received a gift card for Vince Carters and decided to try it the other night. I was skeptical - the reviews here are mixed so it could go either way. We we pleasantly surprised with our meal. We arrived for happy hour - had a Jack Daniels and a margarita (upgraded tequila for a good price). The drinks were well made, arrived quickly. Appetizer we had Baked Brie. The brie wasnt terribly hot, but after having worked in the service industry I can say that its difficult to keep brie at a temperature that makes it "melt". It was perfectly acceptable the way it was and the garnish provided with the cheese was a perfect mix of spicy and sweet. Very, very good. I had the Roma Caprese chicken, my husband had the sirloin. We were pleased with both .... the side order of mac and cheese was our favorite part! Dessert was cheesecake with chocolate ganache. It wasnt "homemade", but it was chocolate with cheesecake so it didnt matter much - it was still rich and delicious. The service was wonderful - attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is low lit and quiet. We really enjoyed ourselves and were able to sit and talk with no distractions. The bill came to just over $60. For everything we had (all of the above, plus two salads) we absolutely expected a much larger check. If you want Top Chef food and FINE dining, this isnt your place. If you want a reasonably priced meal that gives you a "special occasion" feel then this is, 100%, the place you want to be. We will go back the next time were in town, and we would recommend it to our friends.

Really the best thing I can say is that the atmosphere is nice. Food was okay, pretty pricey for what it was. Service was pretty bad. We were one of two tables in the restaurant and it took FOREVER. Plus the server was just kind of absent minded and rude at times.

It seems that there are quite a few mixed reviews for Vince Carter's. I put my two cents in the middle. The ambiance is terrific. We wanted to go to a sports bar and watch the LSU #1 and Arkansas #3 play. They had the game on their biggest screen so it was easy to watch. But all the screens around it were distracting but that's a personal thing. Maybe you would like that. There us also a dining room which doesn't have TV's and overlooks there lake. The building both interior and exterior are beautiful, very well done. The service was OK but could have been better. Our server did show concern when we mentioned a problem. Our dinner consisted of apps and desert. My wife had baked brie, which was neither in a crust nor was it baked, only warmed and chili without cheese. I had chili with the cheese and their Chipotle Shrimp. Their chili, in my opinion was poor at best. It lacked something, probably chili powders of various kinds and came with a sprinkling of green onions. I prefer chopped white onion. It wasn't spicy and was in dire need of salt. The shrimp were overcooked and tough and needed a sauce to dip them in since they were dry. They were nested on a bed of mixed young greens with a few black beans and corn kernels which were supposed to pass as salsa... I just didn't work for me. I had a side of French fries which were better than average and we had the bread pudding for desert, the highlight of the meal. The waitress told us all of the deserts were cold and recommended we nuke them which we did. She gave us two coupons for a free drink on our next visit but I doubt if we will ever use them.

Just don't eat here. Just don't.
(1)Tbone J.

(3)Derek R.

Excellent place to visit whenever we are in the area. I have been here multiple times and the menu selections just gets better everytime.
(5)Bree R.
Great food. I got the Ribeye which was cooked perfectly and lightly seasoned (not too salty); my husband got the seared scallops with ravioli and they were also amazing. They have a great happy hour which is always a plus especially on weekends :) the place is beautiful and I'll definitely be returning!
(5)Carrie S.
(5)Lita G.

(1)Ashley O.
Food not impressive at all. Spend half as much for better food somewhere else... or just fix it VC nice place just needs lots of improving
(2)Susana O.
(1)Me Y.
Good food but eating in the bar had people bumping us alot....If your just there to eat make sure to be in the dining room
(3)Danny A.

(1)Chonsey A.

Loved every minute!!! Went for my birthday and the piano player played Happy Birthday for me. Food was great. Will be returning for my boyfriend birthday
(5)Vishy B.
Nicest sports bar/find dining combination I've seen in a while, it's great to have two restaurants in the same building one offering fine dining and one offering a sports bar environment
(5)Alexis A.
(1)Leslie C.

(1)Steve B.
Always great for lunch or dinner. Lot's of interesting selections and usually pretty good service. Great chili, sandwiches and dinner entrees, I will definitely be returning!
(4)Buck J.
(5)Jessica J.
(3)Ros Rio R.

My first visit. Beer selection is severely lacking in the craft variety. Ribeye was okay but not spectacular. The desert confused me. If I were buying, I wouldn't go again but on someone else's tab...okay.

I was also here are the bar area watching the heat game. this place has it all. date night/boys night out/ sports/ upscale atmosphere.

Stopped here for dinner and really liked it. We ate in the Sports Bar section. Food and atmosphere were both great! If you are in Daytona Beach area, definitely come here!

Enjoy;)

Nice atmosphere, good lobster bisque but the ribeye GROSS! It was so tasteless and they dont understand what medium well means. Everyone else at my table hated their meals as well. And we are so not hard to please!!!

Great high end sports bar with big city menu!

Beautiful decor, good service, and live music. Filet was perfectly spiced and cooked, appetizers were delicious. Desserts were awesome.

(5)Shayla M.
The food was very basic. The atmosphere was nice. I must try the sports bar.

(4)Donald M.
Went to bar after rained out Daytona 500. Good appetizers and happy hour drinks.
(4)Anne M.
(5)Megan S.
Really the best thing I can say is that the atmosphere is nice. Food was okay, pretty pricey for what it was. Service was pretty bad. We were one of two tables in the restaurant and it took FOREVER. Plus the server was just kind of absent minded and rude at times.
(2)Charles O.
